Clouseau Companion

Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

Summary

Clouseau Companion is an investigational, offline-first accessibility and measurement prototype. The developer does not collect, sell, rent, or use your personal data for advertising or tracking.

Information processed on your device

Depending on the feature you choose and the capabilities of your iPhone or iPad, the app may process camera, LiDAR or TrueDepth sensor information, motion and orientation information, microphone input for dictation, approximate device location for optional place naming, and app preferences. This processing is performed on your device to provide the requested feature.

Information leaving your device

Clouseau does not operate a cloud service that receives or retains app sensor data. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Storage and retention

App preferences and any saved room information remain on your device unless you choose to remove them by using an in-app control, deleting the app, or erasing the device. The developer does not maintain a server-side copy.

Tracking and advertising

Clouseau does not track you across apps or websites and does not use data for targeted advertising.

Children

Clouseau is a limited TestFlight prototype and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera, microphone, local-network, or location access in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Features that require a denied permission may not function. You can stop all app processing by closing or deleting the app.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the prototype changes. The effective date above will identify the current version.
